VIKING technical and ESD furniture at electronica 2014 in Munich

IMG_1620.JPG November 11-14, 2014 VIKING technical and ESD furniture was being exhibited in   Munich, Germany at 26th International Trade Fair for Electronic Components, Systems and Applications electronica 2014.

 Electronica is the leading international trade fair, that:

  • gives companies access to profitable markets and new branches of industry and lucrative sales potential
  • showcases important technologies and makes new trends a topic of discussion - and provides global orientation in the process
  • provides concrete perspectives and gives business strong impetus and that leads the way with service quality, flexibility and stable prices and seizes the initiative for new growth.

According to Messe München GmbH post exhibition final report, in the year of its 50th birthday, electronica has achieved an outstanding result: more than 73,000 visitors from over 80 countries and 2,737 exhibitors from 50 countries celebrated the anniversary of the world's largest event for the electronics industry. Once again, the number of international visitors has increased – from 47 to 50 percent. As revealed during the four days of the trade fair, the future is connected – from wearables and cars to entire towns and cities.

In terms of the number of visitors, the top countries were Germany followed by Italy, Austria, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, France, the Czech Republic and the USA in that order. There was a significant increase in the number of visitors from Italy, China, Austria, India and Slovenia.

2,737 exhibitors from 50 countries presented their products and technologies. This represents an increase of 2.5 percent compared to the previous event. In terms of the number of exhibitors, the leading countries were Germany followed by China, Taiwan, the USA, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Italy, France, Switzerland and the Republic of Korea – once again in that order. Exhibitor satisfaction increased again, surpassing the already excellent result in 2012.

Electronica 2014 was the 6th time for VIKING technical furniture to be exhibited on biggest and most important trade fair for electronic components, systems and applications. In the course of these years we constantly enlarged product lines that were shown at the exhibition and the booths space, penetrating European market, extending the quantity of local distributors and brand name recognition.

During the show on A1.467 booth we exhibited several well-known workbenches which already showed an excellent performance on thousands of biggest local electronics industry enterprises and a range of new VIKING technical furniture units. Among those we showed:

  • Alliance automatic workbench with motorized worktop adjustment system, performed by electric drive and simple control unit
  • ALPHA series workbench with customized shape worktop, 3 aluminium supports and additional holders.
  • ST-VR equipment trolley with side handle that allows tools and equipment storage on upper perforated panel and two lower shelves.
  • An additional shelf with sliding shutters that can be mounted to any SR and VR series standard workbench which has Rear Racks.
  • A cabinet with two sliding shutters and a lock in the middle.
  • A range of accessories for working environment additional equipment

This year, like in 2013, on A1.467 employees from St. Petersburg headquarters and factory worked together with Dipaul company Prague office employees. Being a part of Dipaul company, Czech branch (DiPaul s.r.o.) runs an office and a central distribution warehouse in Prague, promotes VIKING technical and ESD furniture and VKG Tools ESD equipment and provides a close support to our partners in the European region.
