ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems certificate
04 april 2017
DIPAUL-Manufacturing Company Limited is happy to announce that by March 2017 it is one of the very few companies in St. Petersburg region to successfully complete a certification audit to ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems standard.
Our ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems certificate was issued by Certification Association "Russian Register", the biggest internationally recognized Russian certification and expert organization. Obtaining an ISO 9001:2015 certificate for DIPAUL-Manufacturing Company Limited was a result of a long-term systematic work, that required certain changes in managerial and production processes.
ISO 9001:2015 is the latest revision of the world’s most widely applied international standard on quality management systems. ISO 9001 helps organizations demonstrate to customers that they can offer products and services of consistently good quality. The standard also acts as a tool to streamline an organization’s processes and make them more efficient at what they do. The revised standard encourages a risk-based approach to encourage preventative action and ensure continuous improvement.
Some of the key changes to ISO 9001:2015 include:
- Greater emphasis on building a management system suited to each organization’s particular needs
- A requirement that those at the top of an organization be involved and accountable, aligning quality with wider business strategy
- Risk-based thinking throughout the standard makes the whole management system a preventive tool and encourages continuous improvement
- Less prescriptive requirements for documentation: the organization can now decide what documented information it needs and what format it should be in
- Alignment with other key management system standards through the use of a common structure and core text
It is worth noting that it was quite difficult to obtain such a certificate. The company needs to prove its expertise to the expert commission, go through numerous inspections and carry out serious work to improve managerial processes. To maintain certification, we will undergo a surveillance audit every year, and a re-certification audit every three years.
